Carolina Bank Field has officially opened the gates! May 28th 2022, Memorial Day Weekend, Rick Beasley, Carolina Bank CEO and Chairman, made the first pitch to begin the minor league baseball game between Florence's Flamingos and the visiting  Lexington County Blowfish. Carolina Bank Field seems to be a grand slam success with many wonderful years ahead. The sold out game was a fun-filled event for the whole family. Flo, the newly named team mascot, was there taking pictures and playing games. All-You-Can-Eat delicious ballpark food was served. Fireworks rang in the night.
